Chere Mama Ursula. Le temps est venu de se dire au revoir et de clôturer le magnifique chapitre qu’ont été ces deux dernières années passées ensemble.

We are feeling very nostalgic and emotional about parting ways, but we are also so very grateful to have had you in our lives for the past two years. Tu fais partie de la vie de Lulu depuis ses 3 mois et il est difficile d’accepter que cette douce période arrive maintenant à sa fin.

You have played a huge part in making Lulu’s first 2 years phenomenal, at the French Nursery and through our cherished little Active Baby Playgroup, and we will forever be grateful for this. We will make sure that she remembers you, though pictures and stories, and who knows, one day we might all reunite.

We love you et nous te souhaitons le meilleur pour les nombreuses années à venir.

Mama Ursula will always hold a special place in our hearts. We are so grateful for her presence in our lives, and the positive impact that she has had on our daughter, Remy, has been enormous. Remy met Ursula when she was 10 months old, and we never felt a moment of doubt leaving our little one in Ursula’s care.

Her years of experience, wisdom and kindness are such balm to tired parents, and her empathy, patience and understanding (for parents as well as toddlers) is unparalleled. As a caregiver and teacher, she co-parented our daughter, and thus played an important role in our family.

On a day-to day basis, Ursula made sure that Remy was clean, fed, rested and happy. Remy always came home from nursery school content. Ursula provided a stimulating and nurturing environment where so many of Remy’s ‘firsts’ were encouraged and supported, from walking to potty training. Remy’s potty training went as smoothly as a parent can hope, and we are confident that much of this was due to Ursula’s guidance.

During Remy’s time with Ursula, she experienced two major life upheavals - the arrival of a baby brother, and a move to ‘Big School’ (Pre-K). Mama Ursula helped Remy with these transitions, by talking through them and teaching and practicing skills to gain confidence.

Ursula’s wealth of experience meant that she was able to offer guidance on so many aspects, like napping schedules, gross and fine motor skills development, potty-training, and language development.

We are better parents because of her. We would welcome anyone to contact us as references for Ursula.

To our dearest Ursula,

Thank you for being so wonderful with Harley. You once wrote on his report card that he is a ‘magical baby,’ and you have helped him find his magic and see the magic in the world. We appreciate your kindness, the valuable lessons we have learned from you, and most of all, your excellent care for Harley, Lulu, Mimi, and Zach. With you as his teacher, we have witnessed Harley thrive and express himself. He has made friends, and we have seen him discover so many ways to find joy in the world.

You always know what to do and have a calm, soothing presence that also helps us, the parents, feel at ease. Thank you for teaching Harley French and for sharing those extra details about who he is and how he is. We hope to continue on the beautiful path you have paved for us, and we will miss you greatly.

Mama ‘shu! We can’t believe how lucky we are to have had your support and care with our son Zach in this time of our lives. We have great memories of our time in your ‘les Petits class’ at the French Nursery, where Zach made his first friends and you helped us a LOT with sleep and learning to experiment with food.

You’ve kept this little gang together through good times and tough times. As parents, we have learned so much from you, and Zach will always be better for your kindness, love, and wisdom. You are an incredible teacher, and you made our homegroup Active Baby Playgroup the best start to an education we could hope for! Tu es toujours bienvenue chez nous.

We welcome anyone to contact us for a reference for Ursula.
